What: Calling all young readers with a passion for adventure and a love for literacy! Get ready to don your capes and dive into a world of words at our Unleash the Power of Reading: Superhero Summer Camp! This summer, we’re on a mission to ignite imaginations, boost reading skills, and celebrate the superhero in every child!
Our camp is designed for avid readers and those looking to discover the joy of reading. Geared toward rising 1st-3rd graders, this camp is perfect for any child with a love for books and a desire to explore the world of superheroes through literature.
Camp Features:
- Superhero Story Time: Join us for epic story sessions where the tales of superheroes come to life. From classic comic book adventures to modern graphic novels, campers will explore the exciting worlds of their favorite caped crusaders. Get ready to be immersed in tales of courage, friendship, and heroism!
- Reading Challenges and Quests: Every superhero needs a challenge! Campers will embark on reading quests and challenges that will take them on literary adventures. From decoding secret messages to solving book-themed puzzles, the journey to becoming a reading superhero is filled with excitement.
- Superhero Craft Workshops: Unleash your creativity in our superhero-themed craft workshops. Campers will have the chance to design and create their own superhero masks, capes, and emblems. It’s time to let imaginations soar and transform into the superhero they’ve always dreamed of being!
- Comic Book Creation: Become the author and illustrator of your own superhero saga. Campers will learn the art of comic book creation, developing characters and crafting gripping storylines. The result? A personalized comic book to share with family and friends!
- Superhero Book Club: Join our superhero book club discussions where campers can share their favorite reads, discuss plot twists, and recommend their must-reads. It’s a chance to build a community of young readers who share a passion for superhero stories.
- Visit from a Real-life Hero: What’s a superhero camp without a visit from a real-life hero? Campers will have the opportunity to meet and interact with local community heroes, from firefighters to police officers, and learn about the everyday heroes in their midst.

$350
Camp Sign-Up/Payment: If signing up for your summer camp at least two weeks or more in advance, we will waive the registration fee and collect 1/2 the camp balance (the remainder of the balance is due the Friday before the start of your first camp). If signing up for your summer camp within two weeks of the camp start date, a $50 registration fee will be collected and the total summer balance will be due at signup.
